Leaders for Nature Master class 'Creating Sustainability Champions'
On 5 February nearly 240 participants from the 20 Leaders for Nature member companies, together with IUCN members, the Dutch government, European Commission and WBCSD joined forces to incorporate natural capital in core business processes.
During the day, participants were inspired, challenged, participated in training sessions, developed action plans, and made deals to work together. The Leaders for Nature programme for 2013 will focus on harnessing and scaling-up these results by starting with a master class on creating employee engagement on natural capital.
This master class will help you to create successful Leaders for Nature actions by providing the tools to engage your colleagues on natural capital. This master class will provide you with all the “must knows” to incorporate sustainability within your organization and will enable your team to learn from other companies in the network by sharing approaches both on the level of LFN teams as on the engagement of employees on a broader sustainability level.
This master class is an excellent opportunity to get together with your LfN teams after the Forum of 2013, but it is an even better opportunity to invite your managers and HR colleagues to the network and jointly work on employee engagement on sustainability within your company.
